Hub Co-Director Julia Gatley Elected President of SAHANZ

Hub Co-Director Julia Gatley has been elected President of the Society of Architectural Historians, Australia and New Zealand (SAHANZ), for a two-year term from July 2025 to July 2027. SAHANZ was formed in 1984, has a membership approaching 200 and convenes an annual conference that moves around Australian and New Zealand universities. The Society’s journal, Fabrications, is published by Taylor & Francis, with three issues per year. Julia has been a member of SAHANZ since 1995. She has co-convened its annual conference twice (2009, 2022), and has served a four-year term as co-editor of Fabrications (2012-15) and a six-year term on the SAHANZ Editorial Board (2016-22). The Society’s next conference is at the University of Tasmania, Launceston Campus, in December 2025. For more information, see sahanz.net.
