Biography:

Akram Fatourehchi Shabestari is a Ph.D. student in planning at the school of Architecture and Planning of the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has a background in architecture, urban planning, and social research for marginalized groups.

She is interested in the cultural ecosystem services, spiritual conservation, and indigenous environmental stewardship.

She currently develops research about the Conceptualization and Operationalization of Context-Based Cultural Ecosystem Services.
